Stand with the family
Andrew fought a brave battle, and the prolonged treatment over the past year has left the family with a heavy financial burden. We are humbly requesting financial assistance from friends and family to help clear his medical bills and give him a befitting send-off.

What happened
Andrew Kongo Ogechi lived with diabetes for many years. Over time, the illness affected his kidneys and led to kidney failure.
He went through dialysis for a long time and faced it with courage. Even with the best care, the damage to his kidneys was too advanced to reverse.
Through all of it, he was never alone. His wife, Naom Kerubo Ogechi, stood by him from the first day of the illness to the last. She did the most for him and gave him everything she had.
His children, Miriam Kemunto, Caleb Okeke and Nathan Mokua, stood with their mother and did their very best for their father. They gave him their time, their strength and their love, and they made sure he was cared for every step of the way.
On 13 October 2026, Andrew passed away peacefully at Cherangany Hospital in Kitale.
We thank everyone who has stood with him and with us through the long illness, and everyone who has called, visited and supported us in these days.

Andrew leaves behind a loving family, relatives and many friends. These are some of the moments we hold on to.
